Download the GuideUnlock More Campaigns: Update Your Skeepers Profile

Your Skeepers profile is your passport to the right brand collaborations. ✨ When you create a user account on Skeepers, you fill out a detailed “Personal Profile” and “Interests” questionnaire. Based on your selections, the platform matches you with campaigns that fit your lifestyle, content, and passions. However, those matches only work if your “Personal Profile” settings reflect who you are today, not who you were months ago. By keeping your info up to date, you make it easier for brands to see the real you, unlock opportunities that truly fit, and build stronger, long-term partnerships.
Why Updating Your Profile Matters
Your profile is the key to getting campaigns that truly fit you. When brands search for creators, they’re not just looking at follower counts, they’re looking for the right people with the right stories. Here’s why keeping your info updated makes all the difference:
Better campaign matches
Brands often have very specific influencers in mind: moms-to-be for a baby-care launch, creators with skincare routines for a beauty line, or fitness enthusiasts for a summer sports campaign. The more accurate your Skeepers profile, the more likely you are to get those perfect invitations.
Personal changes matter
Life evolves, maybe you recently moved, had a baby, or started a wellness journey. These updates affect the kind of campaigns that are relevant to you. If your “Personal Profile” questionnaire selections reflect these changes, you won’t miss out on opportunities that align with your current lifestyle.
Accuracy creates trust
Brands value transparency. When your profile information is up-to-date, it shows you’re serious, reliable, and authentic, all qualities that make you more attractive for long-term partnerships.
In short, the more your profile reflects the real you, the more doors open to campaigns that feel natural, fun, and rewarding.
Situations Where You Should Update Your Profile
Not sure when it’s time to refresh your profile? Think of it this way: any change in your life, content, or platforms that affect how brands see you is worth updating. Here are some common situations where an update makes all the difference:
Life milestones
Big moments like pregnancy, becoming a parent, or moving to a new city can completely change which campaigns are the best fit for you. Brands want to celebrate those journeys with you but only if they know about them!
Beauty & lifestyle updates
A new hair color, a shift in skincare concerns, or new body and wellness goals can open up fresh opportunities in beauty, fashion, and wellness campaigns.
Content focus shifts
If you’ve started moving from fashion to lifestyle, or you’ve added “mom content” alongside your beauty posts, it’s important your profile reflects that. Brands match based on niches and interests, so make sure yours are up to date.
Platform changes
Got a new Instagram handle, launched your TikTok, or want to adjust your niche tags? Updating your existing profile ensures brands can always find and connect with you, without losing your past campaign history.
Keeping your profile fresh ensures you never miss out on opportunities that fit your current lifestyle and content.
What Not to Do: Don’t Create a New Skeepers Account
When things change, it might feel easier to start fresh with a new account altogether. But on Skeepers, that’s the one thing you shouldn’t do. Here’s why:
- Duplicate user accounts on Skeepers create confusion
Having more than one user account makes it harder for brands (and for us!) to know which profile to trust. It can also reduce your chances of being selected for campaigns. If you have two separate user accounts on Skeepers, your profiles may get flagged. - Everything can be updated
Created a new account on social media? Please go to your Skeepers “Social Accounts” settings and click “ADD” to connect that new account to your already existing Skeepers user profile. Multiple handles from the same social media platforms can exist on one Skeepers user account. Additionally, be sure to resync any existing social media account connections on Skeepers if you’ve recently changed the name of your handle. This will keep the connection updated and active. All of these changes can be made directly in your existing Skeepers user account settings. No need to start over. - Continuity matters
By keeping one single Skeepers user account, your campaign history, collaborations, and credibility remain intact. Brands can see your track record, which makes you a stronger candidate for future partnerships.
Think of your Skeepers profile as your creator’s “passport.” It grows with you and updating it ensures your journey is seamless, authentic, and rewarding.
Conclusion
Your Skeepers profile is your digital storefront and the first thing brands look at when deciding who to collaborate with. It tells them who you are right now. By keeping it updated, you’re making sure you attract the campaigns that truly fit your current lifestyle, your content, and your audience.
